The star architect and designer, Jordan Mozer, created something special when redecorating this former iron foundry. The former factory walls were combined with an extraordinary and modern design.
The 'East Sporting & Spa' is the heart and soul of the club – a spacious and bright room with a large glass façade. An exclusive spa area with a plunge pool, luxurious showers as well as special saunas and steam baths, is ideal to relax in. The fitness equipment boasts 24 television channels and an integrated flat screen. Guests can also book various massage and cosmetic treatments at the 'Mandarin Body and Soul'.
The 'East Private Cinema' presents blockbusters and classical films on selected days during the week.
The clarity of our 125 guest rooms, suites and lofts is created by the soft brightness of their free-standing beds, the functionality of their technological facilities, and the faint glimmer of their bathroom and WC (with either shower or large bath).
The safe has an integrated socket so that you may charge your laptop while storing it securely. The satellite TV channel Premiere is available in your room.
Food & beverage
The Restaurant East occupies the former cellar of an iron foundry, and will win you over with its successful combination of historical architecture and modern interiors. The open atrium-like architecture and various levels provide a wonderful feeling of spaciousness. Next to the restaurant, you find an idyllic, leafy inner courtyard. Here you can enjoy cuisine combining European and Asian elements to provide a totally new culinary experience.
The hotel also includes Yakshi's Bar, Smirnoff bar and Lounge No. 10.
From the hotel, you can take a stroll through the vibrant district of St.Pauli and along the famous Reeperbahn street. The going out area, for both locals and tourists, awaits you right outside our front door with various theatres, musicals, trendy bars, restaurants and clubs. The harbour, St. Michaelis and the new harbour city can all be reached on foot. The exhibition grounds and shopping streets are just 10 - 15 minutes away.
From the main railway station:
- Take the underground line U3 to Barmbek
- Take the exit St. Pauli Millerntor
- Cross over the road on your right and turn into Simon-von-Utrecht Straße
- The main entrance to the hotel is located on the right-hand side
By car:
From the South (via the A1):
- Travel over the Elbbrücken bridges
- Follow the signs to the city centre ("Stadtzentrum")
- Continue along Amsinckstraße and follow the signposts to the Reeperbahn/Hafen until you reach Millerntorplatz
- Stay in the right-hand lane and at the second set of traffic lights turn left into Simon-von-Utrecht-Straße
- On the right-hand side you will find the main entrance to the hotel, and the entrance to the underground car park is a few metres further
From the North (via the A7):
- Take the exit Volkspark
- Follow the signs to the city centre ("Zentrum") and then the signs to the Reeperbahn/Hafen
- Travel down the Reeperbahn until you reach its end
- Turn left towards Glacischaussee
- Turn left into Simon-von-Utrecht-Straße
- On the right-hand side you will find the main entrance to the hotel, and the entrance to the underground car park is a few metres further
Use of the adjoining underground car park is charged at EUR 12 per day.
Cancellation
If cancelled or modified up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of the first night will be charged.
Children and extra beds
All children are welcome.
All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
