Eden Star Hotel is located ideally in the city centre of Hengelo, a stone mile away from the central station. The interior of the hotel is modern and surprising, this hotel is unique because of it's floors decorated in different themes. The four themes are: art, theatre, travel and Hengelo. For your dinner ond or drink we welcome you in the informal Star Café Diner. In the hotel we profide free internet through ADSL.

Hengelo has a rich offer of restaurants and bars, combined with the beautiful green surroundings, wich allows us to offer you a perfect visit to the region of Twente. Within a 15 minutes drive you will be at the student city Enschede; the towns Ootmarsum and Delden are also worth a visit.

Since 1 January 2008 the rooms of Eden Star Hotel are completely non smoking. The hotel is easy to reach by car and public transport. You can leave your car in the parking (Q-park) across the hotel (paid parking).

The 100 spacious and acclimatised rooms in our 4**** hotel are located on five floors (access by elevator or stairs). The design on each floor is based on a theme which creates different atmospheres and makes this hotel unique. All rooms feature the same facilities regardless of the theme.

The rooms provide excellent complimentary facilities like in- room laptop safe, coffee/tea facilities and use of high speed dataport.

The beds are 2,1 m long!

Art
The bright colors used by Mondrian for his abstract paintings were the inspiration for this floor. Unique style and design with the possibility for young artists to exhibit their artworks.

Theatre
Willkommen, Bienvenue, Welcome...to the theatre floor with its deep red and gold colours and dancing ballerina's. Feel like a star and enjoy the experience!

Hengelo
A combination of modern business design with the richness of Hengelos industrial past have a surprising effect that you have to see. The (former) Mayors of Hengelo will guard over you as you fall asleep.

Travel
Warm desert colours and impressive travel pictures will easily make you feel at home and will grasp you imagination and take you to far and away countries.

Because of activities in the centre of Hengelo, we advise you to enter Hengelo via the A35 Hengelo-Zuid, in stead of using exit Hengelo on the A1. Via the A35 Hengelo-Zuid you will reach the hotel without any (planed) road works.

1. from the A35 and Hengelo Zuid

From the A1, follow A35 Hengelo Zuid/ Enschede

Exit at Hengelo-Zuid / Twentekanaal / Haaksbergen (exit 27). Turn left at the end of the exit.
Stay in this street, Haaksbergerstraat, keep driving in the direction of Centrum (=centre).
Continue the street until the Oelerweg, continue driving on this street. You will drive past the TIO College.
Turn right at the 2nd traffic light, and go straight ahead at the roundabout. Continue the road, follow the bend. Turn left at the traffic lights under the viaduct.
Follow the bend to the right (Beursstraat).
Turn left at the first street. At your left hand side you will see Eden Start Hotel

2. From Enschede Centre

Follow the Hengelosestraat direction Hengelo.
This street turns into the Enschedesestraat.
Go straight ahead at the 1st and 2nd traffic lights.
Then, follow the bend to the left and turn right at the first street.
At your left hand side you will see the Eden Star Hotel

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

All children are welcome.
All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All children from 3 to 11 years are charged EUR 25.00 per night and person for extra beds.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 50.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
