Situated on a magnificent centuries-old estate that has a royal air to it, the hotel has been furnished with a wonderful combination of classic and modern style to offer remarkable and spacious accommodation.
During your stay, you can enjoy the use of the hotel’s indoor swimming pool with sauna, solarium, bowling alleys, outdoor tennis court, mini-golf course, 'jeu de boules' green, reading table in the lounge, and billiards in the café Royal. And, of course, there are endless cycling and walking routes in the vicinity.

Golden Tulip Avegoor has a particularly rich history, dates back to 1356 and belonged to the royal Orange-Nassau family in the period from 1648 to 1800. The current 'royal' estate was built in 1847 and at present is the place where we receive our guests.
Golden Tulip Avegoor combines exclusive grandeur with uncompromising conviviality with great style. Guests at the hotel are pleasantly surprised by the unique combination of classical style and design. This combination has been carried through in the whole hotel; in the lounge, our three restaurants and our rooms and suites. The characteristically distinguished design rooms offer guests a choice of 6 different experiences. You can choose the experience that suits your requirements best and will make you feel at home. In this setting relaxed enjoyment will come very naturally.
Landgoed Avegoor offers 73 beautiful smoke free hotel rooms. There are standard rooms available, but most rooms are decorated by top designers and feature a wholly new and unique interior. In accordance with a number of specific themes, guests can make an extra choice to enhance their stay at Landgoed Avegoor even more.
You can, for instance, choose to stay in the Modern White, the Timeless Chique, the Comfort XL and the Modern Classic room.
For a design room we charge EUR 15 per night.
Food & beverage
A delicious diner will certainly make your stay at Landgoed Avegoor complete and with that in mind culinary gastronomes are served hand and foot. Our hotel offers no less than three restaurants. Whenever you feel like really spoiling yourself, then Giga’s Restaurant is the place to go. Giga’s has earned a national reputation for itself in culinary circles.
Our newest restaurant Noon was opened in September 2006. This beautiful, modern lounge restaurant serves delectable international dishes that are prepared on the spot by our chefs with daily fresh products. Intermezzo does not only serve diner, but also appetising lunches.
Brasserie Max Bar&Grill is the youngest dining concept at Landgoed Avegoor and ensures a delightful evening. The menu is a fresh combination of classic and contemporary dishes that perfectly suit the chic, yet informal, ambiance of Max.
Landgoed Avegoor is undoubtedly the most ideal starting point for a couple of delightful days in the Netherlands. Enjoy the fabulous nature that surrounds the hotel. You will find the Veluwe and the Posbank close at hand, in addition to which the picturesque Hanseatic towns, such as Zutphen and Doesburg, and not to mention the Hoge Veluwe park with the Kröller Müller Museum are all within easy reach of the hotel. The shopaholics among us can shop to their heart's content in the pleasant shopping streets of Arnhem.
