The Grand Hotel Villa Castagnola is a stone’s throw from Lake Lugano and walking distance from the town centre, where you’ll find the congress centre, museums and shops.
The following are directly outside the Grand Hotel: bus stops, boat trips on the lake, boat hire, funicular to Monte Brè and scenic walks.
Driving Directions:
The Grand Hotel Villa Castagnola is 2km from the railway station, 4km from the motorway (A2 exit), 8km from Lugano Agno airport, 60km from Milan’s Malpensa International Airport and 220km from Zurich Airport.
On the motorway, take the "Lugano Sud" exit and follow signs to "Gandria/St. Moritz", which takes you along the lake road. The Grand Hotel is located approximately 500m after the river, on the left-hand side, in a large park.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

All older children or adults are charged CHF 120.00 per night for extra beds.
