The area surrounding the hotel is rich in natural beauty; the nature area Papagayo Beach is 5 km away and Timanfaya National Park is 12 km away. Timanfaya is a large national park covering over 50 km², the parkland is entirely made up of volcanic soil and there is still volcanic activity in the area today, which has made the park a fascinating tourist attraction.
