This seminar hotel is located in Basel's largest private park. This big garden offers you calmness and relaxation. Due to the central location of the hotel, the old town is only a stone's throw away and you have easy access to public transportation.

As a service the hotel offers free hot water for your tea and coffee around the clock.

By car: Motorway exit "Basel City", in the direction of the Swiss railway station "Bahnhof SBB", from there in the direction of "Kantonsspital" and at the crossroads in front of the Spalentor turn left to the "Missionsstrasse"; entrance to parking on the left ( look for the trees!). Tram no. 1: In the direction of "Dreirosenbrücke", get off at the 5th stop called "Birmannsgasse", walk down the street called "Birmannsgasse" until you reach the "Missionsstrasse", turn left to get to Missionsstrasse 21.

From "Basel Badischer Bahnhof" or "Messe Basel" (Basel fairs and congresses): Bus no. 30, get off at stop called "Spalentor", walk 300 steps to Missionsstrasse 21.

From EuroAirport Basel/Mulhouse: Bus no. 50 till railway station SBB and change into the Bus no. 30, get off at stop called "Spalentor", walk 300 steps to Missionsstrasse 21

Mission 21, "evangelisches missionswerk basel", is an international NGO resulting from the fusion of the "Basel Mission", the Swiss East Asia Mission, the South Africa Mission, the Evangelic Mission in the Kwango area and the Moravian Mission. Linked to the protestant cantonal churches in Switzerland, Mission 21 considers itself part of the worldwide church.

Today, the concept of mission stands for establishing relationships around the world, for exchange between the various cultures, churches, and religions based on partnership, as well as for a vivid communication community across the continents.

On the basis of long-standing relationships with partner churches and organizations in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Europe Mission 21 has reached a level of great intercultural competence. Mission 21 is committed to an integral understanding of the concept of mission.

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

All children are welcome.
All children up to 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children up to 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged CHF 60.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
