Every room in the hotel has its own ambiance. That means that not one single room is the same. The rooms on the ground floor have high ceilings. On the second floor the wooden logs from 1634 give every room a specific ambiance. On the first floor the big windows provide the opportunity to overlook the city, placing you on top of Groningen.

We have recently renovated the Type II rooms to provide guests with the latest facilities and inviting spaces. It is clear that providing quality service to ensure customer satisfaction is a main priority.

After a good night's rest, you can enjoy our extensive breakfast buffet whilst taking in the beautiful view of the Ossemarkt and canals around the hotel. In the evening you can settle down to a good glass of wine in a warm and pleasant atmosphere. If you would rather enjoy food or drinks in your room, we will serve you happily!

After a period of renovation and development, Hotel Corps de Garde has opened a lunch cafe, which provides weekly varying meals with fresh ingredients.

Located in the bustling heart of Groningen, all the main attractions are just a stroll away. Visit the museum in the morning, go shopping in the afternoon and enjoy a glass of excellent wine in the evening. This historical building in such a unique location is sure to feel like home.

Secure parking is possible at the car park, Ossenmarkt, which is just a one minute walk from the hotel. Arrival is possible until 23:00 and departure is possible 24-hours per day.

From the highway you follow "city-centre". Continue your way along the P-route in the direction "West". You will drive along the canal around the city centre. You will find Auberge Corps de Garde close to the "Ossenmarkt", next to the canal.

If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 25 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

All children are welcome.
All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged EUR 10.00 per night and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 25.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
