Hotel Creina was built in 1970 according to the plans of the architect Edvard Ravnikar as one of his copyright works. It was pronounced a historical and cultural monument.
The hotel’s excellent location allows quick access to the airport, the capital city of Slovenia Ljubljana, Ski Center Krvavec, Tourist Center Bled, and to the business and sports environment in Kranj.
You can also avail yourself of our restaurant with 200 seats, aperitif bar with 60 seats, beauty salon and a hairdresser's salon and a banquet hall with 50 seats. The hotel also sports the newly opened Casino Max. Visit our wonderful terrace and park in our own parking area.

All rooms are equipped with a shower, a telephone, a mini-bar and a TV-set.

Breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant from 7.00 am - 9.30 am every day. Lunch is served from 12.00 pm - 14.00. Dinner is served from 19:00 - 21:00.
During the week the ground floor bar is open from 7.00 - 22.00.

In the Hotel restaurant our chefs prepare fresh and warm dishes every day however you can also order “a la carte”.

Each day you can choose between two menus (meat and pasta) or you can order a vegetarian plate or fruit.
For weddings, anniversaries and various receptions and gatherings you can choose from our rich catering offer.

We also organize Slovene Nights with traditional Slovene cuisine accompanied with Slovene music.

The city of Kranj was the home town of France Prešeren, Slovenia’s greatest poet, who is also buried there. Visit Prešeren’s grave and memorial museum in Prešeren’s grove where the poet Simon Jenko is also buried. Because of numerous archaeological findings of the 8th and 7th centuries BC. and numerous findings from the Old Slavonic era Kranj is a historical town.

Kranj is a pleasant town with a rich history, culture and architecture.
The town stands on a rocky pier over the confluence of the mountain rivers Sava and Kokra. For tourists, the whole town has interesting surroundings. Above all, stands the Šmarjetna mountain from which there is a magnificent view of the whole town and his surrounding lakes.
Kranj is also an athletically (because it has one of the most beautiful Olympic pools in Central Europe as well as a jumping center), academically and industrially significant town. We invite you to take a look at a few cultural monuments dedicated to Prešeren, the works of the well-known architect Jože Pleènik, the magnificent gothic church of Saint Kancijan’s and His Comrades and many others.

Where are we, when you leave the motorway?
Direction Jesenice- Kranj (AC)
Exit the motorway at Kranj - Zahod, turn right, go to the first semaphorized intersection, turn left then go straight pass the main gas-station, police and bank and you are in front of the Hotel Creina.

Direction Ljubljana-Kranj (AC)
Leave the motorway at Kranj - Vzhod, then turn left at the roundabout and follow the main road towards the Kranj centre.
Go pass the shopping malls, through the town until you reach the junction at the end of Kokra river bridge. Here you turn left and then drive straight to the police building, where you turn left again and then go follow the main road, which brings you in front of Hotel Creina

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later, the first three nights will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children from 2 to 12 years are charged EUR 30.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
