Situated in the very heart of the old town of St. Gallen, in an easily accessible and quiet location sits the Hotel Dom.

All rooms have ensuite bathroom or shower and toilet.ooms suitable for wheel chairs and non-smoking rooms are available.

The hotel has some parking places. There are in front and behind the hotel. They are free of charge but cannot be reserved. The public car parking "Oberer Graben" is not far away from the hotel and is open 24 hours.

The hotel DOM is situated in the very heart of the old town of St. Gallen, but nevertheless easily accessible and quiet. Guest arriving by car can use our own parking grounds.

We have a clear concept.

We want to make our guest's stay pleasant and comfortable. We also want to build bridges between people with and without a handicap.

In January 2006 the hotel DOM has extended by a restaurant.

Our restaurant team spoils you with a large selection of cold and warm meals as well as with sweets. For vegetarians we offer also a large selection.
The heart in the restaurant - with its 44 seats - forms the buffet, where the guests can serve themselves.

Every Sunday we offer a brunch from 10.30a.m. until 2.00p.m. A rich buffet with various cold delicious, a selection of warm courts and some desserts expect you. The employees serve the beverages.

The whole restaurant is a non-smoking area.
The restaurant offers jobs for people with a handicap like the whole hotel.

For guests arriving by train, the walk from St. Gallen main station takes only a few minutes.

The main cultural sights including the Cathedral are only at a few minutes distance.

The same holds true for the main shopping area of St. Gallen, which is situated in the picturesque lanes of the old town and reserved for pedestrians.

It is no exaggeration: the Abbey District with the Cathedral and the Abbey Library lies just around the corner. The whole ensemble, constructed in the 18th century, became a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage in 1983.

The Abbey Library contains more than two-thousand precious historical manuscripts. The library hall itself is known as one of the most beautiful baroque rooms in Switzerland.

By car you reach St. Gallen by the A1 motorway either from Zurich or St. Margrethen.
PLEASE NOTE, that in case of no free parking space at our hotel, we advise
our guests to use a public garage 3.min. walk from the hotel, at a cost of
CHF 2 per hour during daytime:6 - 21 h, and at night, a cost of CHF 1 per hour.

Guest can use our own parking grounds in the hotel yard.

Dogs are welcome at the hotel. A fee is charged to cover our expenses.

If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

All children are welcome.
All children up to 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children up to 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged CHF 30.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Pets are allowed. Charges may be applicable.
