The Kurhotel Sassnitz is located in a central location with a fascinating view to the sailing – and fishery port arose the health resort “Kurhotel Sassnitz” in 1994. The maritime character of our wonderful house persisted. The especially chosen nautical ambiance points up the location of the house. It is light flushed and conveys a feeling of wideness and courtesy to the guest.

A glass elevator connects the lobby and our guest rooms. Well-appointed rooms provide a comfortable atmosphere and our spa offering physiotherapy, medical baths, chalk treatments and massages guarantees relaxation.
Enjoy the "Rügen Therme" (80 m away from hotel) with swimming-pool, Finnish sauna, steam sauna, hot air sauna, Roman stairs, waterfall, jacuzzi and counter current pool.

Our house comprises of 87 Single-, Double-, and Triple Rooms as well as Double Rooms with lounge and 2 Suites.

Our restaurant serves a rich breakfast buffet in the morning and various culinary delights during the day.

Kurhotel Sassnitz, located at the entrance to Jasmund National Park, is the ideal starting point for your excursions:
- Hiking in the "Stubbenkammer" and visiting the chalk cliffs
- Swimming on the lovely beach of "Sassnitz-Mukran" or "Schaabe"
- Visiting "Cape Arkona", the most northern point of Rügen
- Trip to "Hiddensee" island or roundtrip around Rügen
- Boat trips along the chalk cliff coast or to "Bornholm" and "Trelleborg".

By car:
Please note that the "Rügendamm" causeway will close for 20 min at the following times: 02:30 am / 05:20 am / 09:20 am / 5:20 pm / 9:30 pm.
Between Stahlbrode and Glewitz (connection to B96) a car ferry with a capacity for 44 cars runs daily every 20 min.
From 01.04. - 30.04.06 and 04.10. - 31.10.06: 6.00 am - 08.10 pm / from 01.05. - 03.10.06: 06.00 am - 9.40 pm / from 21.12.06 - 02.01.07: 08.00 am - 06.40 pm.
Take the highway A 24 direction Hamburg and coming to the interchange Wittstock/ Dosse, follow A 19 direction Rostock. At the junction Rostock turn to A 20 direction Stralsund and keep driving until exit Grimmen-Ost. Drive onto the "Rügenzubringer" direction Stralsund and follow signs for "Insel Rügen". When reaching Stralsund, follow B 96 across "Rügendamm" direction Sassnitz. Once you reach Sassnitz, you will find our hotel located behind the roundabout on your right hand side. Free parking available at the hotel.

By plane
The next private airfield is situated in Güttin, close to Bergen, about 40 km away. Rostock Laage airport is about 140 km away.

By train
Take the train to Sassnitz station.
