Here at the Metro you won't get the usual seaside accommodation.

Gone is the flowery wallpaper and stuffy dining rooms. The Metro boasts 15 modern, refurbished non-smoking rooms.

The Metro offers rooms and breakfast accommodation incorporating double, and family rooms all with en suite or private bathroom, as well as tea and coffee making facilities, colour TV and hairdryer. The unique fully self service breakfast room allows flexible breakfast times to fit in with days out and travelling arrangements. (Continental breakfast only). We have a PC with broadband for guest use and we are a wireless hotspot if you cant leave your laptop at home.

The Metro is unique in Newquay for its modern chintz-free style and relaxed home from home feel.

The Metro Rooms and Breakfast was Newquay's 1st contemporary styled accommodation and offers modern rooms and facilities usually found in more expensive hotels.

There is ample parking for all rooms (no charge) and a south facing sundeck with countryside views to help you top up your tan.

Our truly unique breakfast room serves a continental breakfast buffet from 08:00 until 11:00 and allows you to have the breakfast you want with the minimum of fuss. In the evenings you are welcome to use our breakfast room to bring back a take away. You provide the food, and then you are welcome to use the facilities as if you were at home. There is also a fridge, dishwasher and microwave located in the breakfast room to help you with catering arrangements. We are a wireless hotspot which extends to some of our bedrooms and there is a PC located in the lounge area with broadband access. There is no charge for this service. We also offer a free hot drinks machine and a snack vending machine available 24 hours.

Breakfast is served from 08:00 until 11:00.

The Metro is located at the quieter end of Newquay and yet only only 5 minutes walk from Porth Beach and 10-15 minutes walk to the town centre along the sea front. We are 5 minutes in a car from Newquay airport and all the major bus routes pass by our front door.

Take m5 to Exeter, then a30 to Okehampton. Continue on a30 South West towards Bodmin. Remain on a30, turn off at sign to Newquay. Take a392 to Quintrell Downs, at roundabout take right turn (third exit) over railway crossing to Newquay. Follow a3058 for approx 1 mile, we are on left hand side past bp petrol statio and pelican crossing.

Check in is no earlier than 3.30pm and reception closes at 9.00pm so that is the latest check in time. If you anticipate arriving after 9.00pm you must call and let us know so we can explain our self check in proceedure to you. We require a deposit of 50 pounds per room booked. Please note that payment in full is requested upon arrival. The Metro does not accept pets and is a non smoking building. Stag, Hen nights and single sex groups are not accepted under any circumstances. During Bank Holidays, July and August minimum three night stay at the weekend.

If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, a fixed amount of GBP 50.00 will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

All children are welcome.
All children or adults are charged 100 % of the room stay per night and person when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.
